Pastor Carl L. Eudell

Pastor Carl Lenard Eudell

Senior Pastor

Pastor Carl Lenard Eudell was born November 15, 1949 to Lemuel and Alma Eudell, the second of seven children. He received his early education at Seminole County Schools and graduated from Crooms High School in 1967. Upon graduation from Crooms High School he went to live with family members in Syracuse NY where he would spend the next two years.

In 1969, he was drafted into the military. He was inducted into the U. S. Air Force on May 23, 1969. Pastor Eudell spent four years being discharged May 26, 1973. While being enlisted he was assigned to several military installations, Lackland AFB in Texas, Chanute AFB in Illinois, where he went to school for Jet Engine training. After completing his training he was stationed at Incirlik AFB in Turkey and after almost 2 years in Turkey, his last tour was Castle AFB in California where he was assigned to the Air Force Base Trim Team where he serviced military aircraft.

Once his tour of duty was over, Pastor Eudell returned home to Sanford and began to work with his father as a farmer. Farming was very natural and at that point he realized that farming was his gift from God. Still seeking direction for his life, Pastor Eudell enrolled at Seminole Community College.

In 1974, Pastor Eudell met the love of his life, Ms. Patricia A. Branch, affectionately known to him as “Ace”. November 12, 1976 they were married and to this marriage 3 children were born, Carla R. Eudell, Traccie M. Eudell and Carl L Eudell. Before entering into marring he asked God if he wasn’t ready to be married to one woman don’t let him get married.

Pastor Eudell attended St. Matthews MB Church for over 10 years under the tutelage of Pastor S.W. Washington where he served as a Sunday school teacher and later ordained as a Deacon. In 1988, Pastor Eudell went to Tulsa, Oklahoma with members of New Life Word Center to a Kenneth Hagin Conference for 6 days of solid bible teaching. During this time, he realized that God was taking him in a new direction. Pastor Eudell resigned from St Matthews in 1989 and became a member of New Life Word Center under the leadership of Pastor R. W. Merthie and Mother Ruth Merthie. As a member of New Life Pastor Eudell was assigned to be a Cell Leader, ordained as a Deacon, Elder and was placed on the Board of Directors.

In 2009 Mother Ruth Merthie transitioned and two years later Pastor Merthie remarried Lady Patricia Merthie and the ministry continued to move forward. In 2019 Pastor Merthie transitioned and Lady Merthie became President of the Board of Directors and acting Pastor. Elder Carl became Vice President and a year later upon the resignation of Lady Merthie, Elder Eudell became President and Overseer of New Life Word center. After two years as overseer Elder Eudell answered the call of God to Pastor New Life Word Center. His first instruction from God was to, “put Jesus back in His place, on the Throne of our hearts”. We thank God that New Life Word Center has seen many come and go, but God has never abandoned us!

Numbers 23: 19 God is not a man that he should lie; neither the son of man that he should repent; Hath he said, and shall he not do? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

To God be the Glory, Honor and Praise!
